blah.....

So, I know I have not posted in forever but nobody reads this so it's totally cool.
I am pregnant! I should be about 7 weeks along and I am SICK! I stay nauseous from the time I wake up in the morning (or afternoon, whatever the case may be) to about 11pm when I start feeling a little better... well, it gets bearable. We have been BROKE so I have not been able to get any meds or anything to help with it so that probably just makes it worse.
I do not remember being this sick with Colten. I know I was sick all day, everyday for three months straight but I only remember throwing up a handful of times and I was working all day, 6 days a week, at a seafood restaurant! Maybe work was keeping my mind off of the nausea but I remember dreading broiled dishes because they would make me really sick. I had a few customers that I took their food to them at arm's distance away from me like it was toxic and I just had to tell them "I'm sorry, I am pregnant and strong smells upset my stomach" They all seemed to understand, we had some great customers, but I felt bad about doing that because I don't want them to think their food stinks... it just stunk to me, lol. I really do miss working there :(
Anyway, Jordan is going to Walmart tonight to get my 7-up, Dramamine, and acupressure bands. Hopefully, I can get this sickness under control and not take another day out of school like I did today. I felt like a bum!

Colten's 2nd Birthday Party

My baby is turning 2 on May 2, 2010. I am going to have a small get together to celebrate on Saturday, May 1, 2010.

I am going to bring cake, ice cream and the birthday boy. We might have someone bringing hamburgers and hot dogs but am not 100% sure on that one. If you can help by bringing some cups or drinks we would appreciate it.

The plan right now is to have the birthday party at Central Park in King, NC (get directions here) at around 2pm. If there is rain then we will do the party at our house.

Please send me a text or call me at 336-971-1627 to let me know you are going to attend and you have filled out the survey. If you hear "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" you have called the right number :)

Thanks everyone, see you there!
Lacy
